Refund Policy

No purchases are currently offered on Scopebase.

Scopebase is running in invite-only mode: every account gets free access and no checkout, subscription, or one-time purchase is available. Because there is nothing to buy right now, there is no active refund policy governing new purchases. This page states that status plainly and explains what still applies.

Current Status: No Purchases Offered

Scopebase does not sell subscriptions, credits, or add-ons while invite-only access is active.

Scopebase is currently distributed on an invite-only basis. Accounts receive free, unlimited access within published usage limits. There is no checkout flow, no subscription, and no paid add-on available anywhere on the site. Because no purchase can be made, no refund can be requested for a new transaction — there is nothing to refund.

Failed-Generation Credit Rule

Free-tier usage limits are not consumed by failed runs.

Scopebase tracks estimate generations against free usage limits, not payments. If Scopebase fails to parse an uploaded document or fails to generate a complete estimate, that attempt does not count against your usage limit. You can retry without being charged against your allotment. This is the only "no charge" behavior currently in effect, since no monetary purchases occur under invite-only access.

Historical Customers

Accounts that purchased a plan before the invite-only pivot retain access to the terms that applied to that purchase.

Before moving to invite-only access, Scopebase offered paid subscriptions and one-time purchases through Stripe. If you made a purchase during that period and have a billing question, a dispute, or want the refund terms that were in effect at the time of your purchase, contact support with your account email and the approximate purchase date. Support will provide the applicable policy and payment record for that transaction.

Email support@scopebase.org with the subject "Billing Question" for any purchase made before the invite-only pivot.

If Paid Plans Return

A new refund policy will be published and linked from this page before checkout reopens.

If Scopebase reintroduces paid plans, a refund policy governing those purchases will be published on this page, reviewed by counsel, and linked from checkout and account billing surfaces before any new purchase can be made. Until then, this notice remains the accurate, current status.
